Lead FedRAMP Assessor (REMOTE - TOP SECRET REQUIRED) - Military Veterans

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Lead FedRAMP Security Control Assessor for a remote opportunity based in the DC area (occasional client-site visits). The Lead FedRAMP Security Control Assessor will lead compliance assessments for client systems to ensure industry requirements are met in accordance with FISMA and FedRAMP guidelines. This position will be primarily remote, with occasional visits to clients sites for physical assessments.

Responsibilities of the Lead FedRAMP Security Control Assessor:

·       Lead, plan and execute 3PAO assessments for customers and stakeholders in accordance with NIST SP 800-53A, FedRAMP and DoD requirements.

·       Create and deliver reports and recommendations to clients specific to controls implementation.

·       Develop A&A documentation to successfully complete projects in accordance with the project scope for FedRAMP and DoD DISA assessments.

 

Qualifications for the Lead FedRAMP Security Control Assessor:

·       Active TOP SECRET clearance required

·       Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field.

·       7 plus years of professional experience including 4 years’ performing control assessments.

·       Knowledge of the FedRAMP Framework and DoD Impact levels IL4, IL5 and IL6.

·       Prior 3PAO assessment experience.

·       Experience and understanding of Cloud environment services (i.e. networking components, access controls, cryptography, auditing, etc.).

·       Certifications: CISSP and one of the following: CASP, GCED, GCIH, GSLC, CISA, CISM, CFR, or CCISO.

 

Compensation for the Lead FedRAMP Security Control Assessor includes:

·       Salary: $160,000-$185,000 depending on experience and qualifications
