ED Attending Physician | University of California San Francisco - Military Veterans

This is a 50% Contract Position with a 1 year end date Direct and oversee all medical care rendered to patients within the Pediatric Emergency Department while on duty. Clinical effort will be split between different DEM clinical sites depending on departmental need. Supervise the clinical care, procedures, charting, and interactions with patients and staff by residents, interns, students. The position requires a license to practice medicine issued by the California Board of Medical Examiners and Board Certification in Pediatrics. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role. For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
