This client is a leader in the inspection space, has over $5 billion in annual revenue and over 78K employees. They do everything from specialized testing, inspection and certification, and they operate in a variety of sectors, including building and infrastructure, agri-food and commodities, marine and offshore, industry, certification and consumer products.
This specific side of their business is looking for Commissioning Engineers for their inspection/testing services. Their hiring manager is prior military and is looking to bring on solid technical minded folks whom they can train into their roles. In this role, you and a team will travel to data centers across the country and help commission the facilities. This is role does demand some high travel; standard travel is via air to a location for 2 weeks, then back home for a week, then back out for two weeks. Kind of like a mini deployment.
Specifically, they want those with the following personality traits: critical thinking, problem solving, smooth under pressure, showing up on time, work until the job/mission is complete, and are able towork in a fast paced environment.
Compatible technical backgrounds: Mechanics (MM, Nuke MM, AD, aircraft mechs. They will look at other strong mechanical backgrounds.
First Year up to 75% travel while training across all locations, and after that closer to 50%. All travel is reimbursable.
Base salary, $80 - $100K DOE, benefits, a 401k, travel is paid.
