Responsibilities

As an Outside Plant Engineer, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop, maintain and manage detailed project plans

  • Drive your projects through all phases of construction, including scheduling, budgets, and resource management

  • Complete job site walkouts and facilitate project meetings

  • Meet deadlines as set by the customer while maintaining a high level of quality

Compensation

  • Initial compensation range $52,000 - $72,800.

  • Compensation is experience based.

Qualifications

About You:

  • 5+ years in telecom wireline construction industry or related experience.

  • Experience with Coax (Cable) and/or Fiber Optic basic design required.

  • COMCAST plant familiarity is a plus, equivalent experience is welcomed.

  • Able to design and plan Aerial and Under Ground construction best practices.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office is required and the ability to learn custom software

  • Ability to track, prioritize, and complete multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with others in a Team environment.

  • Must be able to read and understand coax and fiber design prints

  • Strong computer skills with emphasis on applications are required
