Our workforce, like our technology, is rapidly expanding and looking for a qualified Director.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As Director of Wellbore Placement (your primary responsibilities will be to develop, manage, and execute a portfolio of service and software offerings in support of the overall NDS business objectives.

• Work closely with Global Geomarket teams to expand the NDS downhole services footprint

• Manage the service execution of the products and services and regularly interface with the customers to understand market trends, customer needs and competitive landscape

• Develop additional performance products and automation services

• The strategic leadership, financial performance and effective management of all the U.S. and International MWD/DD/Performance Products business of Nabors Drilling Solutions (NDS).

• Developing and expanding NDS' U.S. and international market share as per approved plans and budgets

• Partner with NDS operations group coordinate activities, as needed, across Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Corporate Development, and Sales

• Study the business environments impacted by product/service you support, including history, trends, emerging technologies, ecosystem, competitors and partners to develop and update product/service development and commercial strategy for NDS Performance Drilling offering

• Manage three groups within WBP (e.g., Solution Development, Business development and Marketing)

• Collaborate with Sales to drive large business development transactions and corporate-level alliances and ensure execution of commercial by Sale

  • Act as a trusted advisor to NDS and Nabors leaders


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 10-15 years' experience in an executive capacity in a related industry setting

• 10 years of experience in strategy, business planning, marketing or consulting

• Strong knowledge of drilling engineering and analytical skills

• Deep understanding of drilling technology, products and services

• Business and market-development knowledge with an understanding of partnership strategy and a general knowledge of channel development, marketing, sales, services, and engineering processes

• Ability to use key points of contact to increase client base

• Working knowledge of software development including intellectual property, including the business model issues and tradeoff points with respect to negotiating deals

• Balanced expertise in both strategy development and program execution

• An ability to lead, influence and drive results in a matrix organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MS/MBA strongly preferred
