Summary of Responsibility:

We are seeking a professional, resourceful, and highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to promote the sales of Tsugami America product solutions. The ideal candidate will focus on growing sales revenue within the defined territory with distribution partners and direct sales. They will be responsible for ensuring end user expectations are clearly communicated across the organization and delivered in a timely manner. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to work in a highly multifaceted environment, building customer relationships and manage multiple topics in a key role for Tsugami America.

What You Will Contribute:



  • Be the Tsugami America sales and product expert within assigned territory (Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota).


  • Responsibility for helping oversee the Tsugami America Technical Center of Brooklyn Park, MN. Must maintain active presence.


  • Develop positive relationships with customers and distribution network.


  • Ability to meet or exceed on FY target units by product segment.


  • Orchestrates regional action plans to aid in rapidly growing market share.


  • Ensure forecasting accuracy and reporting to Business Unit Manager by maintaining a balanced SalesForce pipeline.


  • Maintain customer contact activities in CRM (SalesForce).


  • Produce and maintain market/industry relevant information to region.


  • Work closely with distribution partners on competitive accounts and focused industry segments.


  • Collaborate with Tsugami America technical colleagues (engineering and project management) to deliver on customer pre-sale needs, including but not limited to in-depth product presentations and demonstrations, automation opportunities, test cuts, etc.


  • Drive post-sales communication with the highest level of professionalism and sensitivity to resolve difficult customer issues supporting service and parts needs for end user satisfaction. Be the liaison.


  • Assist in creating time studies, deal sheets and quotations in a timely manner.


  • Participate in regional industry associations and become actively involved to attract new opportunities. Attend regional, as well as national conferences/tradeshows and promotional events.

Travel:

50% - 60% travel within the assigned territory (including overnight stays), local office/distribution partners, Tsugami America headquarters, and on occasion internationally.

Qualifications & Competencies:



  • 10-20 years of sales experience in manufacturing, capital equipment (Swiss or CNC preferred).


  • Results driven, proven eye for business and excellent communication skills forming strong connections required.


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical field strongly preferred in combination of training and work experience.


  • Microsoft Office, SalesForce, CAD required.
