Senior Tax Analyst - Military Veterans

Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Sr. Tax Analyst based in Cleveland, Ohio. 

What you will do: 

• Review corporate taxes, tax guidelines, and internal controls to ensure that the company’s polices meet regulatory requirements 

• Prepare tax returns workpapers including permanent and temporary book/tax differences, eliminations, and other accrual analysis.  

• Investigate and draft responses to state notices and audits. 

• Support preparation of quarterly federal and state tax provision calculations.  

• Ensure internal policies and guidelines are prepared in compliance with fiscal laws. 

• Stay up to date with the knowledge of applicable tax codes

What you will need: 

• Bachelor’s degree in tax, accounting, or auditing.  

• CPA and/or master's degree preferred 

Skills, Experience & Abilities       

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in corporate tax. 

• Well organized and can exercise sound judgment in decision making 

• Online tax research database, tax preparation software, and Microsoft Office.
