Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manual dexterity sufficient to grasp tools and equipment
- Ability to read and write English sufficient to read computerized forms, computer screen, handwritten paperwork, complete trailer movement logs
- Class A CDL required
- Safety knowledge as it pertains to yard safety and driving safety
- Ability to work inside the warehouse and outside in temperature extremes (-20 degrees to over 95 degrees)
- Available to work any shift to include weekend work.
- Strength to lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 60 pounds on a regular basis, able to pick up from floor level to waist level, and sometimes shoulder level
Qualifications:
- Audible communication sufficient to two-way operate radio
- Safely back trailers in to dock doors and maneuver trailers in various doors and spaces on yard
- Operate interior and exterior trailer wash bays
- Manually wash front and rear exteriors of trailers
- Assist Trailer Clean Out as needed
- Fuel tractor / trailers when needed
- Work closely with others all warehouse departments in solving problems, coordinating work activities, and getting the job done
- Be a positive team-oriented associate and have good follow through
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Perform other duties as required.
