Adjunct Instructors in Religious Studies | Manhattan University - Military Veterans

The Department of Religion and Philosophy seeks instructors to teach the following courses in the Fall and Spring semesters: Fall 2024: The Nature and Experience of Religion Death as a Fact of Life Spring 2025: The Nature and Experience of Religion Religions of India Buddhism Religion and Environmentalism Topics in Religion and Culture Responsibilities: Adjunct will be expected to: Prepare syllabus for the course and provide instructional content for the assigned courses. Ensure active participation and engagement of students. Support a diverse and inclusive learning environment. Adhere to the college's mission and values, submit grades on time, and otherwise comply with related requests from the chair. Qualifications: Successful applicants will have at least a master's degree and, ideally, a doctorate in the appropriate discipline. Salary Range: Instructor $1477.28 per credit Assistant Professor $1526.25 per credit Associate Professor $1575.65 per credit Professor $1625.04 per credit Manhattan College is an independent Catholic coeducational institution in the Lasallian tradition.
