Behavioral Health Support Coordinator (pool) - Military Veterans

Responsible for overall clerical support providing direct support to the Behavioral Health Management, and Public Safety. The Behavioral Health Support Coordinator, (BHSC) is a collaborative member of the interdisciplinary team that facilitates patient care, flow, and services in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities of the BHSC includes, monitoring for safety and security for visitors, patients, and employees. Overseeing and coordinating office functions, including a myriad of secretarial, administrative, quality improvement initiatives, data analysis, and reports.

The BHSC assists in orientation of new employees, compiles statistics and reports performance improvement/quality outcomes. Communicates and collaborates with other departments to ensure efficient operations for the department. Supports scheduling and documentation of department meetings. This position requires superb organizational and multitasking skills while maintaining a high level of professionalism, with independent decision-making abilities and strong interpersonal skills. This position requires proficiency in the use of Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and the ability to master other software as necessary.
