Quotations Specialist - Military Veterans

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate capital equipment proposals in support of outside sales by working with PLM and engineering to pick the best equipment configuration to meet customer specifications/requirements.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance and periodic audits of equipment configurations, technical descriptions, cost, and price with product line managers, sales, engineering, and operations.
  • Facilitate delivery review process at quotation and order.
  • Provide technical and commercial information to order managers and project managers to complete change orders.
  • Perform cost analysis at the end of a project to determine profitability and materials cost increases.
  • Perform light programming of quoting software to automatically generate equipment proposals.
  • Manage technical descriptions, cost, price, and modeling selections for new quotation system.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in MS Office products such as, Outlook, Excel and Pivot Tables.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail with time management and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment; self-directed and able to prioritize responsibilities, providing precise attention to detail
  • A minimum of 2 years of Supply Chain or Project Coordinating is preferred but not required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Work may require evening and weekend work
  • Previous customer-facing experience
  • Ability to interpret data and provide recommendations based on findings
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to advocate and inquire with the right balance to positively influence the team
  • Self-starter, willing to accept the initiative and able to work independently
