General Description: Elevate is Illinois Tech's signature program that connects students to experiential and co-curricular opportunities which includes campus life activities, internships and research. These opportunities include on- and off-campus research, internships and co-ops, study away, and additional opportunities such as short courses and competitions to further round out your education. The Experiential Learning Manager will play an exciting role at Illinois Tech that combines student engagement, career programming development, and the building of program infrastructure around this Elevate Initiative. The Experiential Learning Manager will work with the Senior Director of Career Services and other stakeholders to build out and maintain the programs and processes that will be essential to the university's Elevate promise to students. This includes assisting in the development and execution of Elevate-related activities and events at Illinois Tech, as well as managing content on the Elevate portal and the Career Services webpages. This role will also support the relationship management of partner organizations who provide experiential learning opportunities for our students. Department: Career Services Position Category: Full Time Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree required. Two-plus years experience at a higher education institution or in a content management role is preferred. Experience working with planning large-scale events preferred. Knowledge & Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in written and verb form Ability to organize several projects and tasks with multiple deadlines Ability to problem solve, think critically, and explain decisions rationally Comfort with working with a variety of stakeholders students, staff, faculty, external vendors/partners Appreciation for and commitment to multiculturalism; Possess professional standards of conduct including a strong sense of ethics and confidentiality; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Ability to develop and review reports; Ability to run and review audits on processes
