Job Description POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE , Chemical Engineering-Qi Research Group , to join the Qi group and work in the area of soft matter and complex fluids. The group is interested in leveraging the flow and deformation of soft and living materials to understand human health and develop medical technologies. Will use tools such as theory-driven models and dynamic in vitro experiments to design biomaterials or engineer cells with novel biomechanical properties. Opportunities for developing new interdisciplinary research projects and leading collaborations across MIT and in the Boston area are also available. Job Requirements REQUIRED : relevant Ph.D, training in areas such as chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, and biophysics; and a strong publication record and communication skills. A background in microhydrodynamics, microfluidics, biomechanics, and/or simulations is desirable. Both theoreticians and experimentalists are encouraged to apply.
