Join our team of innovators as we design, develop and deploy cutting-edge software solutions forHoneywell Anthem Next-Generation Avionics Display Systems.You will be a key member of our (NGA) Next-Generation Avionics group, responsible for designing, developing and implementing advanced software solutions for cutting-edge avionics technology that enhance the situational awareness and decision-making capabilities of pilots.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will impact the aviation industry by developing innovative software solutions that improve the functionality, reliability, and enhance user experience of avionics systems.


  • Enjoy working on next generation and new-product development programs, leveraging your expertise in software development to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions

  • Your work will contribute to the development of cutting-edge Avionicstechnologies

  • Design, develop and test software solutions for Anthem display systems, applications and services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and user-friendliness

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design software architectures, and implement software modules.

  • Software architecture and coding

  • Integration

  • Feature Definition

  • Verification and Validation

YOU MUST HAVE


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.

  • 4+ years of experience in software development of embedded products and/or Avionics.

WE VALUE


  • Understanding various software development life cycles,methodologies and tools.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python and/or Open GL.

  • Experience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System

  • Experience with Avionics products desirable i.e. Avionics Displays & Graphics, Flight Mgmt, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios, etc

  • Experience operating in an Agile framework desired

  • Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
