RRCHNM uses digital media and technology to preserve and present history online, transform scholarship across the humanities, and advance historical education and understanding. About the Position: The postdoctoral fellow works on research projects generated in collaboration with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA). These projects will assist the DPAA's mission to provide the fullest possible accounting for the nation's missing personnel from past conflicts abroad. Responsibilities: Works directly with the DPAA in identifying and completing required research projects; and Produces website content, blog posts, or other teaching materials as assigned. Required Qualifications: Terminal degree in a related field; Ph.D must be completed by the first day of employment; Prior experience working on digital history products; Ability to work well on deadline; Strong attention to detail and fact checking; Experience with digital tools and methodologies; Effective writing and communication skills; Ability to work with diverse stakeholders; and Experience working in a collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications: Background in modern military history or adjacent fields; Archival and field research experience; Experience working collaboratively; and Experience working with a variety of stakeholders.
