Coordinator/Steel Operations - Military Veterans

The Process Coordinator- Operations is more of a middle-management position and is responsible for administration of their safety program to ensure a safe work environment and safe work practices. This is predominantly a Monday-Friday, day shift (occasional off shift for projects).

Responsibilities:

- Administer their environmental program to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.

- Apply engineering principles and problems solving techniques to evaluate and resolve conditions to maximize operating efficiencies.

- Utilize management skills to supervise, direct, and coordinate the efforts of a team of managers and experienced technicians, craftsmen, and project planners to repair and maintain equipment to keep the operations running at maximum efficiency with minimal interruption.

- Performs and oversees administrative activities such as scheduling and paying employees, completing production reports, conducting safety conversations, and compiling other reporting as required.

- Maintains an awareness of the condition of operating equipment.

- Troubleshoots equipment failures and arranges equipment repairs through assigned maintenance personnel.

- Communicates, directs, and facilitates the overall operation of the facility.

- Ensures accountability, engages employees, promotes teamwork and responsibility.

- Ensures consistent productivity and cost.

Base salary of $110 - $115K, although salaried, there is straight time overtime to the tune of about 15% annually, two bonuses that yield about 10% per year. Total compensation is $125 - $130K, along with relocation and great benefits. Job 57725
