Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Providing Maintenance and Engineering services. Provides superior level of customer service, technical skills, product knowledge and leadership to maintain the Plumbing systems. Assists the Plumbing Supervisor and work with employees as a team on assignments, tasks, preventative maintenance and the purchasing of shop supplies. Accomplishes the most difficult repairs and overhauls on any of the equipment in any facility in the system. Performs all duties and responsibilities and have the same principle accountabilities, training, education, experience and physical demands as those of the senior level craft person of the assigned shop.

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates work requests, responds to emergencies and provides leadership for skilled craftsman under the direction of the Supervisor.
  • Completes, plans, organizes and determines methods, materials and parts that will be used on assigned tasks and projects.
  • Ensures all routine, safety and emergency work orders are completed and closed in a timely manner.
  • Repairs and overhauls mechanical equipment.
  • Reports equipment failures immediately.
