Administrative Assistant, Registrar's Office | Wheaton College - Military Veterans

The Administrative Assistant in the Registrars Office will manage the front office, answer telephones, respond to emails and provide general front line office support and customer service to students, faculty, and staff. The Administrative Assistant will respond to questions about Wheaton systems and academic policies and provide systems and data entry support including student record maintenance in Ellucian Banner.
Other Functions of the Administrative Assistant:
Processing documents
Scheduling meetings
Managing office calendar
Verifying student enrollment
Processing academic transcripts
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma and minimum of one to three years of office or administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Proficiency with MS Office and Google calendar
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion
Excellent data entry skills with good attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Ability to prioritize work and manage competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree preferred
Previous experience in higher education
Knowledge of student information systems, preferably Banner, strongly preferred
