Designs, develops and implements scalable solutions for security system installations, upgrades, repairs and change outs. 2. Researches and tests new security technologies, systems, equipment, components and products. 3. Provides recommendation for technology enhancements and improvements and perform due diligence in assessing new technology solutions, including cost and budget preparation. 4. Oversight of all aspects of the University access control systems which includes planning, design, installation and maintenance for new and existing clients. 5. Establishes and implements effective, predictable and measureable processes and procedures. 6. Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentations and presentations. 7. Oversees systems integration functions, working with and providing direction to outside consultants. 8. Suggests areas for improvements in internal processes by remaining on the forefront of emerging industry best practices on security systems. 9. May perform other duties as assigned.
