Athletic Equipment Assistant | Colgate University - Military Veterans

Accountabilities: Must be able to attend Colgate home athletic events as assigned Disperses daily practice laundry and equipment, assists with the repair and maintenance of all sport-related apparel, gear and equipment Performs a variety of duties related to an intercollegiate equipment room, including periodic equipment inventories, inventory control, receiving, checking and recording shortages in daily UPS , deliveries per protocol Prepare and issue competition uniforms, locker room set up of both home and visitors for events Operation of sanitation type machines for equipment Responsible for day-to-day problem solving of athletic equipment Adheres to OSHA requirements and NCAA regulations to equipment safety Issues, collects and maintains computerized records of lockers and locks when appropriate Provides oversight and guidance of student workers when applicable Ability to work in weather elements as needed Other job related duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director of Equipment Services
