Assistant Professor - Pediatrics | Columbia University - Military Veterans

Columbia University's Department of Rehabilitation Medicine invites applications for a physician faculty position. Board qualified in Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation required. Primary clinical responsibilities will be the care of pediatric patients with disabling conditions, including cerebral palsy, cancer, spina bifida, and other general rehab and musculoskeletal conditions. Share responsibility with other Rehabilitation Medicine attending physicians for teaching residents and fellows. Specific clinical responsibilities and teaching obligations will be determined by the Chair. P articipate in the department's on-call rotation system for attending physicians, which includes rounding with the on-duty resident on assigned weekends and holidays for patients hospitalized on our inpatient rehabilitation units, as well as attending to any urgent consultations or outpatient issues Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must have completed clinical training in anACGME-accredited Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency Program. Preferred Qualifications: Fellowships and/or board certification in a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation subspecialty and Pediatrics.
