Program Grant Administrator | SUNY Cortland - Military Veterans

Position Summary: The Research Foundation for SUNY at SUNY Coartland is accepting applications for a full-time Project Manager in the School of Education. The project manager will support the development and implementation of the Central New York ( CNY ) Consortium for Alternate Pathways to Teacher Certification ( CNY ATC ). This project is grant funded through 2028, with the possibility of funding extensions into the future. The CNY ATC is a partnership of educational institutions committed to addressing the teacher shortage in CNY by expanding the routes that qualified individuals can access to become certified teachers. Based at the State University of New York at Cortland ( SUNY Cortland), the Consortium partners include Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3), Onondaga Cortland Madison BOCES , Tompkins Seneca Tioga BOCES , and CiTi BOCES . The project manager will work closely with an advisory group made up of representatives from all partners to develop and implement the structures and processes to assist program participants in gaining teacher certification through the most appropriate pathway. This position will report directly to the Dean of the School of Education at SUNY Cortland and will be responsible for administrative duties in support of the CNY ATC including developing and implementing program structures and processes, organizing meetings and collaborations with stakeholders, communicating with partners and program participants, managing the grant budget of approximately two million dollars, collecting data, and generating reports related to program and its impact. Major Responsibilities: Work with the Principal Investigator and the CNY ATC Advisory Committee to: Develop and implement structures and processes to enable project participants to access various pathways to teacher certification. Develop and implement methods for publicizing and recruiting participants for the program. Develop and implement an admissions process to appropriately review and accept participants to the program. Assist SUNY Cortland and TC3 faculty in the development of program curricula as needed. Assist in the development of orientation and advising structures for program participants. Track participant progress and success by gathering and analyzing program-related data. Prepare reports from data collected. Support the dissemination and presentation of results of the project at regional events and state and national conferences. Provide general administrative support as needed to the Principal Investigator and the Advisory Committee, including: Management of the project budget and processing purchase requisitions and budget related paperwork. Creation of and maintenance of CNY ATC website and listservs. Collect, organize and maintain all program records. Set the agenda and assist in leading meetings of the Advisory Committee and other stakeholder groups. Responsible for making logistical arrangements for all project meetings and events.
