Overview

Under the general direction of a Region Manager, the Service-Quality Specialist performs a wide range of supervisory, administrative, marketing and food protection and pest management-oriented tasks.

In this role, you will…


  • Regularly contacts customers and government agencies.

  • Coordinates and implements the policies and procedures for area operations

  • Evaluates efficiency of operations

  • Performs regular service, fogging/fumigation(s), special projects

  • Conducts facility assessments and performs service audits

  • Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements

  • Coordinates and directs area operations and personnel

  • Other assignments and projects as assigned by manager

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screen

  • Possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record

  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite skill to include Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint

  • Possess and maintain applicable state pest control licenses

  • Ability to perform Lockout/tag out procedures

  • Ability to obtain medical approval to wear respirator

  • Ability to wear hard hat and steel toed boots

 

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Entomology or a related food quality protection field

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the performance of operations activities

  • Licensed PCO with 5 years or more experience in IPM and fumigation

  • Previous supervisory experience

 

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:


  • Moderate exposure to confined spaces

  • Frequent exposure to extreme temperatures from -20 to 150 F

  • Ability to ascend and descend multiple flights of stairs (2-12) with SCBA with in 20 minutes

  • Occasional kneeling

  • Long and irregular hours

  • Ability to ride man-lift

  • High vision acuity and hearing aptitude

  • Frequent crawling and walking

  • Ability to push/pull or roll large cylinders weighing up to 260 lbs.

  • Possible exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals

  • Field operations with possible unique hazardous conditions
