Job Summary

The Sales Development Program Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, logistical strategy, and successful execution of a variety of sales training meetings, programs, and events (both virtual and in-person). The role is responsible for coordinating all aspects and details related to training, while maximizing resources. This role will report to the AVP, Sales Development and Innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage all aspects of a variety of training programs, ranging from small team meetings to large scale muti day events.
  • This role requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional attendee experiences.
  • Coordinate all logistical details related to training delivery events (virtual and in person), including but not limited to venue selection, catering, transportation, accommodation, vendor relationships, managing schedule, planning of activities, budget management and onsite support.
  • This also includes creating rosters, tracking attendees, scheduling meeting rooms, procuring learning materials and equipment, airline reservations, rooming lists, AV/media, and food/beverage for all programs.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and financial oversight.
  • Maintaining and organizing inventory for all training supplies; orders and invoices accordingly
  • Supporting the creation, tracking and overall program metrics using Microsoft Forms
  • Ensuring all education requirements and pre-work for training programs are met.
  • Supporting the creation of print materials used for training programs.
  • Performing administrative duties including but not limited to reporting, invoicing, and maintaining/monitoring program mailbox.
  • Oversee and utilize web-based meeting and event management tools, including online registration, event websites, and virtual event platforms as appropriate.
  • Creating and maintain CVENT sites for events (virtual and in-person). This includes distribution and maintenance of all sites for Program Managers throughout events.
  • Collaborating with Sales Development and Innovation team for onsite set up of all training programs.
  • Coordinating group dinners and team events for all training programs
  • Understanding and working within parameters of each training program budget
  • Performs other related duties and activities as required.
  • Respond appropriately and make on the spot decision and adjustment in the last-minute changes or unexpected circumstances. The role requires regular travel for training and team meetings, and willingness to travel periodically, to locations within market as needed. Mandatory in-person employee and client meetings.

Education and Experience

Requirements for the Sales Development Program Coordinator position include:
  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience in a related field. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in an administrative or training program coordinator role, ideally with a focus on managing multiple training events. Experience in corporate meeting/event planning is preferred.
  • Cornerstone (LMS) Experience: Familiarity and experience with Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS) is a plus. Knowledge of this software will be beneficial in effectively managing and coordinating training programs.
  • CVENT Online Registration Software: Knowledge and experience with CVENT online registration software is desirable. Proficiency in this platform will enable the Sales Development Program Coordinator to efficiently create and manage event registrations.
  • Microsoft Forms: Experience with Microsoft Forms or similar survey software is an advantage. Being knowledgeable in these tools will aid in collecting feedback and insights from training program participants.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite: Demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Suite, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. These software programs will be utilized for creating training materials, presentations, and managing data.
Location and Travel

• This role is in Chicago, IL at our Triangle Plaza location

• 15% travel for National Meetings may be required

• Evening training program set-up may be required
