WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

The Consultant, Talent and Organizational Development is a key strategic partner within the HR function, responsible for implementing and evaluating talent management programs and broader organizational development initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for optimizing talent processes, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and fostering a positive employee experience. They will serve as a subject matter expert across the organization on talent management, while also contributing to other critical OD areas.

The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work remotely (100% from home).

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD: 

Talent Management:

Performance Management: Administer and continuously improve performance management processes, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals and drive employee development.

Talent Planning and Assessment: Partner with HR and business leaders to execute internal mobility strategies, including identifying critical roles, assessing current and future needs, and implementing talent plans to move talent between roles, departments, or locations within the organization.

Succession Planning: Operationalize robust succession plans for select roles, ensuring the organization has a pipeline of ready-now talent.

Goal Setting: Advance the organization's approach to goal setting and managing performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering a culture of achievement.

Organizational Development:

Change Management: Facilitate change management efforts, ensuring successful adoption and sustainability of organizational changes.

Team Effectiveness: Assess team dynamics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement interventions to enhance team collaboration and performance (preference for 6TC methodology).

Employee Engagement: Implement strategies to foster a culture of engagement, measuring and analyzing employee feedback to identify and address areas for improvement.

Employee Experience: Partner with HR and business leaders to enhance the overall employee experience, from onboarding to exit, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.



Additional Responsibilities:

Serve as a trusted subject matter expert across the organization on talent management programs.

Lead and manage highly effective projects related to talent management, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.

Identify process improvements based on client feedback and propose solutions for approval.

Provide expert guidance and consultation to HR partners on talent management programs and the execution of relevant processes within the business.

Partner with HR technology and analytics teams to ensure IT systems support effective process execution and provide analytics that enhance program development and leaders’ ability to make talent-related decisions.

Analyze data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving effectiveness of talent programs and other outcomes across the organization.

Develop and execute change management plans to support implementation of new program components.

Research and stay up to date on trends and best practices in talent management.

Collaborate with HR colleagues on various HR projects and initiatives.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - 95,000. 

This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED : 

Education: Bachelor's degree required

Experience: Demonstrated subject matter expertise in talent management, HR management, or a related field with at least 7 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and related experience).

Preferred Skills & Abilities: 

Ability to handle multiple priorities, effectively analyze problems, and recommend appropriate solutions even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear.

Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision, while practicing high collaboration with colleagues.

Strong background working with technology, using Microsoft products, including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. Workday experience is a plus.

Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and strong professional communication skills.

Follows policies and procedures, maintains confidentiality and works with highest level of integrity and ethics

Location: Candidate will work remotely from their home office; can be based in any US city

Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system.
