Senior Program Manager - Wilton Management Team - Military Veterans

Job Mission

ASML, a market leader in the semiconductor lithography equipment, is looking to fill the role of Senior Project Manager reporting to the Strategy Execution Manager in the Wilton Management Team. As the Wilton site continues to grow, this role will ensure the facilities will be available to support the expansion, helping ASML continue to innovate and to fulfill its mission to drive the advancement of microchips. The candidate will be responsible for project management, execution, and reporting for site related projects impacting all aspects of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Program management: Manages a wide range of site programs from small issues up to 100M Euro + projects which will have mid- and long term and strategic impact. Plans all aspects of the effort and leads the team, ensuring on time and high quality completion. Able to handle multiple simultaneous efforts, effectively prioritizing and ensuring long term progress on key initiatives without being distracted by other escalations.


  • Communication. Able to create and deliver presentations highlight project business case, risks, critical milestones, and status. Summarizes complex information to Senior Management, with “no more and no less than is needed” style of communication. Understand the true needs of the business and challenge assumptions on options for solutions.


  • Cross-collaboration: Be the bridge between executive leadership and various departments, leveraging their expertise to guide company-wide initiatives. Influencing beyond organizational boundaries, driving site program execution through collaborative partnerships.


  • Transformational impact: Drive the safety culture by enabling employees to own safety and creating an environment where employees can speak-up on safety topics. Promote a sense of ownership among team members.


  • Customer expectation: Manages the customer expectations with respect to site programs, guiding senior leadership in aligning site initiatives with customer needs. Drive initiatives that establish the organization as a trusted partner, shaping mid- and long-term customer relationships through exceptional experiences.


  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.


Education and experience


  • Relevant bachelor or master degree e.g. (Technical) Business Administration, Facilities Management, (MEP) Engineering.


  • 10+ years of experience in leading site improvement- & transformation projects in complex organizations.


  • 5+ years experience in interaction within an operational site (e.g. factory)  and with end customers.


  • Experienced in change management. 


  • Investigates opportunities to improve; actively informs and involves others in changing processes.


Skills


  • Ability to lead project teams in expertise domains (safety, Corporate Real Estate, etc.) without authority.


  • Strong stakeholder management skills.


  • Organizational savvy: understands where initiatives are deployed and how to align these with own deliverables.


  • Political acumen. Must be able to work effectively with all members of the Wilton Management Team and their reports, influencing without power to drive results from individuals not formally dedicated full time to the project.


  • Good planning and analytical skills, ability to lead multifunctional teams.


  • Proven success in project or task management.


  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, required


  • Able to “lead”, not just, “manage” a team.


  • Internal locus of control.


  • Takes initiative.


  • Clear decision maker.


  • Strong ownership and commitment.


  • Ability to multitask and make quick priority calls on a daily basis.
