Who will you be working with?

Our Operations Excellence team is responsible for driving standardization across Wabtec in the areas of Industry 4.0, Lean, Global Materials, SIOP and Supplier Development. As a member of our Industry 4.0 (Digital Transformation) team, you will be responsible for driving ERP transformations as a Plan-to-Manufacture Global Process Leader. You will work closely with our IT, Integration and Manufacturing teams to impart state-of-the-art automation within our network of global manufacturing facilities.

How will you make a difference?

The Senior Project Leader will create and deploy the strategy for conversion of legacy systems to an Oracle platform. They will also work cross-functionally to define future state supply chain ERP functionality, while ensuring global process standardization, and flexibility for continuous improvement.

What do we want to know about you?


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (Or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Supply Chain or IT environment)

  • Minimum of 10 years of Supply Chain / Operations experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of Oracle ERP experience

  • Proven functional depth within discipline.

  • Demonstrated Project / Program Management ability.

  • Advanced finance acumen

  • Excellent organizational integration and influencing skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Executive level presentation skills

  • Proven track record for meeting customer / business needs

  • Clear thinking and strong prioritization skills.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification


What will your typical day look like?

  • Evaluate current manufacturing and assembly processes and translate to Oracle ERP environment.

  • Define and translate operations functional requirements from legacy systems to ERP environment, including Oracle ASCP, VCP, Proficy, Reliance & Maximo applications.

  • Evaluate material and information flow between plants, defining critical path relationships, monument applications and provide solutions to ensure continuity in new systems environment.

  • Work cross-functionally with methods teams to drive continuity between PLM / Teamcenter into Oracle ASCP environment.

  • Develop and standardize processes across business entities Continually improve and streamline systemic and transactional processes.

  • Adapt processes and/or system setup to accommodate changing business conditions and new business entities.

  • Highlight additional opportunities to standardize.

  • Ensure proper design, setup, testing, and implementation of major domestic Oracle ERP programs.

  • Facilitate sharing of lessons learned across business unit.

  • Ensure adherence to and completion of business tollgates per plan.

  • Effectively communicate the strategy and tactics of the programs.

  • Apply functional and systemic expertise to creatively merge business systems (ERP, MES, PLM, etc.) with process simplification initiatives.

  • Lead process development workouts

  • Walk users through system options through try-storming in sandbox environment.

  • Build and demonstrate functioning system solutions.

  • Ability to travel 25% both international and domestic.
