The University of Iowa's Department of Health and Human Physiology invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, open-rank instructional track faculty position in Sport and Recreation Management (SRM) for the academic year 2025-26, beginning August 20, 2025, renewable for a total of three years (2026-29) and renewable thereafter in three-year increments. Applications are sought from candidates with a demonstrated potential for outstanding teaching in three or more courses from the following list of SRM courses: Contemporary Issues in Sports Managerial Operations in Sport and Recreation Sales in Sport Communications and Public Relations in Sports Design and Management of Sport and Recreation Facilities Sport Business Practices Sport and Recreation Promotion Finance in Sport and Recreation Recreation Administration Programming for Recreational Services U.S. Recreation and Parks: Foundations and Impact Travel and Tourism Duties of this position include teaching and service to the department.
