Marketing Specialist - Military Veterans

STS Technical Services has partnered with Embraer to hire a Marketing Specialist in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role involves strategizing, planning, and coordinating marketing promotions, branding campaigns, and events across North America.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Specialist II will strategize, plan, and coordinate North America’s marketing promotion and branding campaigns including events, customer anniversaries/milestones, social media plans, giveaways, and other Marketing and Administrative functions as necessary according to the division’s Marketing Plan. This employee will be a subject matter expert related to all Embraer internal policies and procedures which have to be followed by the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute over 30 annual events including trade shows and conferences.
  


• Act as a brand ambassador, working closely with sales and marketing teams.
  


• Provide support to the Commercial Sales and Marketing Team globally.
  


• Oversee the global event budget and update the team on budget tracking.
  


• Ensure proper marketing materials are available at each event.
  


• Translate marketing and sales team vision into successful event execution.
  


• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  


• Prepare marketing reports by collecting and analyzing data.
  


• Maintain product portfolio knowledge to answer customer inquiries.
  


• Continuously improve event planning activities and tools.
  


• Partner with vendors to ensure compliance with branding guidelines.
  


• Adhere to Embraer policies and procedures.
  


• Provide administrative support to the department and Director of Sales & Marketing.
  
  

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 
  Education: BA degree in Business Administration or Marketing required.
  


• 
  Experience: Minimum of 5 years in event planning and execution. Project/campaign management experience required. Aviation industry knowledge preferred.
  


• 
  Skills: Excellent communication, detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive attitude, team player, proficient in content creation and copywriting, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, competence in Portuguese and/or Spanish a plus.
  
  

Working Conditions:

• Ability to travel 20%-50% of the time.
  


• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
