Senior Application & Automation Analyst - Military Veterans

Overview

The Senior Application & Automation Analyst is responsible for the support and maintenance of the accounting and core operational applications utilized by the company. As part of a dynamic team, the Senior Application & Automation Analyst performs maintenance activities, resolves support issues, implement robotic process automation, develops reports and participates on projects that promote efficient operations. This individual should possess a strong accounting and technical aptitude and have the drive to continue to learn and develop.
Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps to manage and prioritize backlogs, as well as plan and execute Program Increment and release planning.
  • Create detailed project plans and timelines and manage project execution from start to finish.
  • Communicate project progress to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Contribute to various group projects as a project team member.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives, to keep the team on track.
  • Work with vendor implementation and internal software development teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Assist in the support and maintenance of accounting and core operational applications, including Argus Enterprise, Concur, Cornerstone and Egencia.
  • Perform monthly maintenance activities such as data loads and scenario archiving.
  • Evaluate business requests for automation and develop process automation recommendations.
  • Build new processes and objects using our development best-practices.
  • Create, or help the process owner to create, user acceptance testing (UAT) documents, identifying all the process scenarios and their expected outcomes
  • Assist with testing application patches and upgrades that enhance system usability and performance.
  • Train end users and share best practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Commercial Real Estate and apply this knowledge to improve project delivery.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Commercial Real Estate industry (Yardi, Argus Enterprise).
  • 2+ years of experience with developing digital workers using the UiPath RPA platform.
  • Experience with UiPath Orchestrator. UiPath certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of Javascript, HTML and other scripting languages.
  • Working knowledge of SQL with an interest to become more proficient.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines without frequent supervision.
  • Ability to interact with internal customers and external contacts in a professional manner.
  • Ability to independently diagnose and resolve application issues.
