We are currently seeking a Java Technical Manager to join IPS.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a critical project within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java, Spring, Angular, and AWS PostgreSQL, along with excellent project management skills. This role involves managing a cross-functional team, ensuring successful project delivery, and aligning technology solutions with business objectives.

Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:


  • Lead end-to-end project execution, from planning to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, requirements, and success criteria.

  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.

Technology Expertise:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, Angular, and AWS PostgreSQL.

  • Provide technical guidance to the development team, ensuring best practices and efficient code delivery.

  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions based on project requirements.

Team Management:

  • Build and lead a high-performing development team.

  • Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and mentor team members.

Process Optimization:

  • Streamline development processes, ensuring efficiency and quality.

  • Drive continuous integration and deployment practices.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate project status, risks, and achievements to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Facilitate effective collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.

Organizational Alignment:

  • Understand organizational goals and align project outcomes accordingly.

  • Good understanding of Infosys systems (Alcon, PBS, OMS, Quality, etc)


Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master’s degree program are strongly preferred.

The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.

IPS strictly complies with U.S. employment verification and anti-discrimination laws.
