Requisition Number: S_240666 Department: Bursar-0979 Description of Work: As part of the Bursar team, the Bursar Associate's primary responsibility is the checking accounts administered in the Bursar's Office. This position also processes electronic payments received by the University and provides backup cashiering for the office. This role requires primarily in office work for processing checks and performing cashiering and must be able to work on campus when needed. Two years of experience in performing accounting functions required. Experience and proficiency with computer software applications such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and databases/ ERP systems. Cash handling and basic accounting knowledge required. Strong communication skills. High integrity required. Ability to trouble-shoot problems and questions for departments and parents/students. Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy along with strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Accounting or related field is preferred. Experience in a higher education setting and SAP experience is helpful. QuickBooks experience is preferred. Posted Salary: $19.231/hr minimum Job Type: Full-Time
