Job Summary and Qualifications

  • You will directly supervise and control the daily operations of all maintenance engineers in all their duties and will be responsible for all other requirements each engineer must meet as employees under the Director of Engineering. You may on occasion perform some functions of the Director of Engineering in his absence or as his designee when necessary.

What qualifications you will need:

  • High School graduate or equivalent,  approved apprenticeship program, journeyman program

  • Certificate of Qualification reflecting appropriate trade (if applicable)

  • Five years experience in hospital maintenance engineering (will consider hotel experience if qualified); must have continuous, upgraded training in related fields with documentation of same

  • Must have two years supervisory experience in an engineering setting
