Part-time Lecturer | University of Chicago (UC) - Military Veterans

The Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago invites applications for part-time lecturer positions for the 2024-2025 academic year to teach in our programs. We seek excellent teachers and experienced practitioners to teach in a variety of policy-related areas that enrich the Harris School's already robust curriculum. Candidates must have at least a tentative idea for a course or seminar to be offered, as well as expertise and experience directly relevant to the course or seminar being proposed. Qualified candidates must have a graduate level degree and/or professional experience in the relevant field; a PhD is preferred. Candidates must have relevant or policy-related experience; prior experience teaching students is strongly preferred. We will review applications on an on-going basis throughout the year, beginning on August 9, 2024, but will stop accepting applications for the 2024-2025 academic year on April 1, 2025. Each candidate must submit a curriculum vitae or resume and a course proposal. Optionally, prior teaching course evaluations and other materials relevant to your candidacy may be included.
