Administrative Director, Executive Health Services | University of California San Francisco - Military Veterans

Reporting to the Affiliate Network Chief Operating Officer and in conjunction with the Medical Director of the Executive Health Services, the Administrative Director is responsible for the administrative direction and oversight of the Executive Health Practice and delivery of care to patients. the Administrative Director provides expertise to the Concierge program within Executive Health Services. the Administrative Director works with the physicians and clinical staff to promote, develop, monitor, and maintain systems pertaining to all aspects of clinical care for the practice, ensuring alignment with UCSF Medical Center and Ambulatory Services policies and procedures. Administrative Director maintains operations and facilities in a state of continuous readiness for regulatory Inspections. The Administrative Director is also responsible for maintaining effective relationships with other practice staff departments and patients. The Administrative Director works closely with the Director of Concierge Services to ensure the delivery of seamless patient care and facilitation of concierge services. The Administrative Director serves as the clinical liaison for UCSF concierge patient referrals from UCOP, Chancellor, Deans, Department Chairs, Faculty, Senior Leadership, Governmental Relations, the Development office, and major donors/members of the UCSF Foundation. The Administrative Nurse Manager is also responsible for the budget of the Executive Health Practice. The Administrative Director is also responsible for ensuring the exemplary delivery of high-level concierge care to a unique patient population. The Administrative Director is continuously evolving a top-tier, invitation-only, primary care practice as well as performing continuous competitive analysis of the Bay Area's concierge medicine market. The Administrative Director has deep knowledge of UCSF and UCSF Health, and the Bay Area and its residents, and serves as a subject matter expert to UCSF and UCSF Health Senior Leadership. In addition, the Administrative Director serves as a subject matter expert to patients and physicians regarding the availability and quality of clinical care services in the Bay Area. The Administrative Director has a deep knowledge of the social, business, political and philanthropic environment of the Bay Area, including strong local connections and working relationships in the community. The Administrative Director maintains strong, supportive relationships with UCSF's highest profile supporters, including their health history, family history, social networks, businesses and affiliations. The Administrative Director continuously provides clinical expertise and support to the unique patients in the Executive Health Practice, as well as to their families, physicians and other close parties. The Administrative Director is responsible for maintaining effective relationships with UCSF and UCSF Health Senior Leadership, UCSF Development, UCSF Health practice directors and physician leaders. The Administrative Director serves as the clinical liaison for high-profile patient referrals from UCOP, UC Chancellors, Deans, Department Chairs, Faculty, Senior Leadership, Governmental Relations, the Development office. In addition, the Director provides clinical guidance and support to other areas of the Concierge Services Department including International Services to ensure the delivery of seamless patient care and facilitation of concierge services. The Administrative Director is responsible for the budget, strategic planning, marketing and public relations of the Executive Health Practice and all aspects of directing the Practice, including determining who should be extended an invitation to join the practice or whether to place in another UCSF practice. The Administrative Director serves as the Liaison to the UCSF Development Office and helps shape strategies for cultivating donors. The Administrative Director 's work with UCSF Development contributes to high level annual donations to UCSF and UCSF Health, and donors who have contributed millions of dollars in donations to UCSF in the past 5-7 years. As an experienced healthcare leader, the Administrative Director is able to orchestrate multidisciplinary care coordination for high profile patients, inclusive of organizing family care conferences, complex home care and outpatient therapies, specialty referrals and the Administrative Director visits patients in their home setting when beneficial and appropriate. This individual leads the clinical staff of the Executive Health Primary Care Practice to promote, develop, monitor and maintain systems pertaining to all aspects of clinical care for the Practice, ensuring alignment with UCSF Health and Ambulatory Services policies and procedures. The director ensures operations and facilities are maintained a state of continuous readiness for regulatory inspections.
