Position Summary UCLA School of Law is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and stewardship to its donors. As a Stewardship Coordinator, you'll join a collaborative team focused on acknowledging, recognizing, informing, and engaging donors. You'll be part of a prestigious law school within a world-class university, fostering a diverse and engaged community. Under the general direction of the Director of Stewardship, you'll draft and edit gift acknowledgments and provide comprehensive support to acknowledge donors and demonstrate the impact of their contributions. You will be an integral part in organizing and maintaining the systems and processes essential to our stewardship activities and team. In addition, you will also assist with special projects to expand your level of knowledge and involvement on our team. You will collaborate with a diverse group of internal constituents, which may include faculty, executive staff, directors, alumni relations and donor relations staff, to facilitate the appropriate stewardship activities. In addition, you will serve as a UCLA Law contact for donors that require help to resolve problems, answer questions and address concerns. Salary & Compensation *UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications Experience with Adobe suite, Canva, and/or graphic design. (Preferred) Experience using a PC and a variety of computer software (Word, Excel, Photoshop, etc.) in a Windows environment. (Required) Strong interpersonal skills to interact courteously and effectively with co- workers, volunteers, donors, and key University officials, maintaining composure under time constraints and to work as part of a large team. (Required) Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal supervision. (Required) Demonstrated skills to compose and proofread correspondence for appropriate grammar, spelling, and content, and skill in writing creative and correct acknowledgments, reports, and other fund-raising related pieces. (Required) Ability to move special projects forward to the next steps without daily oversight. (Required) Impeccable integrity and discretion in dealing with donors, alumni, students, administrators and colleagues. (Required) General knowledge of basic gift terminology and the ability to apply that language to achieve the goals of a fund-raising program. (Preferred) Working knowledge of fundraising principles and techniques sufficient to complete a variety of projects and assignments successfully and with minimal supervision. (Preferred) Excellent oral and written communication skills to gather and disseminate information. (Required) Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively under conditions of heavy work-load, frequent interruptions, distractions, and deadlines. (Required) Ability to analyze data trends to create and maintain complex databases, tables, and reports. (Required) Ability to supervise clerical student workers on office projects as needed. (Required) Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Preferred) Special Conditions for Employment Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation.
