NON-TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION

The Department of Chemical Engineering at Manhattan College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor Position with an anticipated start date of the Spring 2025 semester, though a Fall 2024 start may be considered . The department seeks candidates with a strong academic record and an ability to teach ANY of the core-curricular offerings of a traditional undergraduate chemical engineering program as well as required courses at Masters level in a small, private, undergraduate and masters degree granting institution. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate is also expected to participate in service at the department, School of Engineering, and the College level. A successful candidate will be required to teach 24 credits per academic year.

Qualifications : The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field, preferably with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program. Related teaching, industry experience, and professional licensure are all highly desirable. Also, experience in one of the areas of (1) Consumer Products and Cosmetic Engineering, (2) Biopharmaceutical engineering, or (3) Processing of Novel Materials is highly desirable, while not required.

Salary: $90,000 - 95,000 Per Year
