The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for MRS (Mail Related Systems - Hardware) is a position responsible for leading and managing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities of the Mail Related Business solution for the region Central Europe & International Operations (CE&I). This role reports directly to the CFO CE&I and works closely with other senior executives to provide financial insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities


  • Developing and implementing MRS financial planning and analysis processes that provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to the MRS senior management team.

  • Leading the MRS annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop realistic financial targets and providing regular updates to the MRS senior management team.

  • Analyzing MRS financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing insights into trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Developing and presenting MRS financial reports and presentations to the MRS senior management team. Participate in monthly MRS operating review.

  • Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Managing and mentoring the MRS FP&A team, providing guidance, coaching, and training to develop their skills and expertise.

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.

  • Ability to work independently where required and act as the finance expert on all initiatives in your area. You will be required to present analysis, provide insight, and make recommendations for future strategies.

  • Partner with business unit leaders in relation to the ongoing development of their financial knowledge and preparation of monthly financial outlooks

  • Liaising across teams to ensure configuration and optimizing processes from inception through to reporting.


The ideal candidate for this role should have:

  • At least bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • Extensive professional experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a leadership position, in an international environment.

  • Proven history of leading a team

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • A deep understanding of financial modeling and forecasting techniques, as well as knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements, is also required.

  • Experience within a multinational commercial environment or in supply chain or carriers' business is a plus.

  • Experience using multiple IT systems. HFM and SAP experience would be an advantage.
