Job Summary
As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success for the Adult Incontinence category for Medline's retail business. Lead and execute product commercialization for Retail Private Label brands from concept to full market. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, market research, category insights, marketing initiatives, as well as new product planning, and long-term positioning.

You will lead a team responsible for developing and implementing channel strategies, go-to-market programs, and product commercialization to maximize revenue, optimize category performance, and enhance the overall Omni-channel experience for Medline branded & Private Label through integrated and innovative approaches to increase sales profitably, leveraging data-driving insights, market trends, and consumer analysis.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for the Adult Incontinence business including new product strategy, development and launch plans for the product line; encompassing product, packaging, and communications for products within the line, consulting on brand communications strategy with internal creative services team.
  • Accountable for implementation of channel and account-specific strategy, inclusive of Omni-channel, for branded and private label assortment identifying and addressing the needs and opportunities for the channel to identify white space opportunity, drive growth, profitability, market share and revenue.
  • Create and lead the strategic and annual business plans and product and channel priorities for the branded and PL portfolios. Develop (in collaboration with sales) the business revenue forecast.
  • Lead consumer research initiatives that inform business plans, marketing strategies, brand launch campaigns, customer presentations, new products and enhanced communication strategies.
  • Lead the consumer product portfolio for assigned business advising and consulting cross-divisionally on positioning, product domain, design, tone and architecture for the brand.
  • Develop and foster partnerships cross-functionally in order to drive category growth and create mutual value for customers and for Medline in development and execution of business initiative for proper and timely communication.
  • Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

Requirements:

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field.

Experience
  • At least 5 years of channel development, brand marketing and product management experience; Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years of management experience.
  • Experience and skills influencing, leading and directing individuals in multiple functional areas.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead in a matrix organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, communications, influencing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced level experience - PowerPoint, MS Office.
  • Up to 20% travel, as needed.

Medline also has served as an Environmental Protection Agency SmartWay® Transport partner for the past 10 years, tracking and sharing information on the company’s fuel use and freight emissions.
