Job Summary
Carneros Resort and Spa is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bilingual HR Coordinator to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department by facilitating a positive and inclusive workplace environment. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, with a passion for people and a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence.
Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer facing role, preferably in a hospitality or service industry setting.

  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
    • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
    • Support hiring managers in creating a welcoming and informative onboarding experience for new employees.


  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
    • Facilitate effective communication between management and employees to ensure a harmonious workplace.
    • Assist in resolving employee issues and concerns, escalating to HR management as necessary.


  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and paper filing system.
    • Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions.


  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation, including EEO-1, OSHA, and other compliance-related filings.
    • Assist with audits and other compliance-related activities.


  • Training and Development:
    • Coordinate and schedule training sessions for employees, including compliance training, skills development, and leadership programs.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of employee training materials and programs.
    • Track and maintain training records for all employees.


  • HR Projects and Initiatives:
    • Support HR management in the implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
    • Participate in the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the HR department.

What we don't make or grow onsite, we try to source within a 150-mile radius of the Resort for the ultimate in flavor and freshness.
