What you will do

The Program Manager works with the Data Analytics team within the Global Installation Organization to provides oversight and responsibility for management of the portfolio of Global reporting and analytics within the Installation Function. They is responsible for ensuring uniform implementation of project standards by reporting analysists across all Installation Data Analysis initiatives. The Program Manager is responsible for providing regular project communications, both internally and externally to the appropriate stakeholders so that projects are delivered on time and within budget. The Program Manager provides a single point of contact to key business stakeholders and data integrators for resolution of project and operational issues, and performs periodic project and program reviews, making recommendations for improvement and marshalling the implementation of those recommendations. Actively participates in sequencing projects, adjusting timelines, and modifying scope documents to achieve Program objectives.

Immerse yourself in the end-to-end process of identifying a business need, partnering with sponsors to design reporting and analysis solutions, ensuring effective deployment is delivered to audiences, and reporting solutions maintained over time.

Identify cross functional reporting insights to drive business execution across our global organization within the installation function

Investigate new opportunities and develop effective reporting solutions that are impactful and inventive.

Align your ingenuity and innovative ideas with the global strategic plan of the business.

Learn on a day-to-day basis about how Johnson Controls products and technology support our customers' business objectives and are propelling the industry forward.

Installation Reporting & Analytics Responsibilities

Design intuitive and creative reporting and analytics tools to support business and critical processes both in and above the branch.

Create solutions to support business KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and measure/evaluate the effectiveness of the solution; perform ROI (Return On Investment) studies on learning initiatives for qualifying events.

Use data to drive your design and insights, and to evaluate effectiveness of reporting solutions.

Partner with leaders in the installation business to identify and respond to their biggest challenges and goals with innovative reporting solutions.

Apply what you know about reporting analytics and share what you learn along the way with the wider Reporting and Analytics team.

Hold learner interviews, focus groups, needs analyses and develop personas to identify and address reporting needs.

Work very closely with team members who will develop your designs. Need your ability to flex on time, as we have a global team.

Installation Program Manager Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end project strategy to include needs analysis, iterative design and development cycles, deployment, measurement, and maintenance of your solutions.

Utilize Organizational Change Management theory and skills to help influence our workforce and drive mindset change.

Collaborate with change, communications, and business team members to ensure your reporting solutions positively drive required business objectives.

Use strong project management skills in developing outcomes that positively impact the business.

Act as an internal consultant to combine multiple perspectives into holistic solutions that maximize the impact to the business.

Build and monitor reporting roadmap(s) for specific roles within the field installation business.

Field operations, change management and / or program management experience is a plus.

Reporting Analytics Team Member

Collaborate with and support a strong global team environment.

Participate in organizational development exercises including group facilitation, team building, and systems analysis.

Leverage innovative reporting technologies and platforms to deploy reporting, including SQL, Microsoft Power BI, and other data analytic toolsets

Maintain current knowledge of trends and issues in reporting analytics

  • Technical- JCI's portfolio of products is complex, so we need someone who is quick to grasp how building environments are created and business lines organized.



  • Educated - Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Data Management or Data Analytics. A Master's degree in related field is preferred.



  • Innovative - Thinks outside the box, is creative and forward thinking; constantly looking forward at new technologies or ideas.



  • Flexible - Very comfortable with grey areas; can adapt and change to meet business needs.



  • Detailed - Realizes the importance of details in leading to impactful outcomes.

  • Articulate - Your writing and communication skills must be strong.



  • Experience - 5+ years of data analytics and program management preferred, Change Management experience, business of field operations experience a plus
