What does this role look like?



Supply Chain’s vision is to enable customer and mission success through supply chain strategies and execution that deliver superior operational program performance and create competitive advantage through continuous improvement. It is our mission to deliver affordable supply chain solutions that meet all program requirements and manage supply chain risks to ensure positive supplier performance through all phases of the program life-cycle from capture to sustainment.


This role will offer you the following daily challenges:



• Sources and purchases various Procurements, including but not limited to, machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary to support the operation of an organization.
• Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records.
• Ability to determine pricing to be fair and reasonable based on technical evaluation, history, market data, or cost element evaluation.
• Work closely with suppliers to execute contracts and provide contract management support with complex contracts.
• Work all aspects of the Procurement interface including competition, Supplier performance indicators, invoices/billings, changes, schedule, budgets, and funding.
• Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records.
• Facilities Procurement Support working competitions and single-source hardware and services.
• Contract Management for Complex Contracts
• Complex Competitions
• Price Analysis
• Negotiations
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education,

• 5+ years of professional experience,

• Candidate needs to have previous professional experience with the following:
- Solicitation/Evaluation,
- Contract types; FFP, T&M, LTA, CPAF,
- Complex negotiation,
- Supply Chain Management,
- P2P (or similar ERP/SAP system),
- FAR/DFAR,
- Source selection and evaluation.

• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
To be successful, ideally, you should also have:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree,
• Demonstrated customer service mindset,
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Excel,
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills,
• Leadership skills,
• Microsoft Schedule knowledge,
• Demonstrated delegation of authority,
• Requirements documentation experience,
• Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $67,200 - $128,900 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,300 - $145,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
