Subcontract Manager, Staff - Military Veterans

Description:Missiles and Fire Control Advanced Programs are
at the forefront of program and product
development securing the future of the company
and warfighter. We are looking for an experienced subcontract manager to manage major supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on multiple development efforts within Advanced Programs.
This position requires the ability and initiative to
interface with internal and external partners to mitigate risks and ensure procured materials and services are acquired in compliance with established procedures and support the needs of internal customers. The successful candidate must have ability to interface effectively with Sr. Management and suppliers to achieve desired program objectives.

Specific duties include:
-Lead Cross Functional Subcontract Management
Teams
-Manage the procurement cycle from purchase
order to payment of invoice
-Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and delivery
-Manage supplier relationships and performance
issues
-Monitor and perform Earned Value analysis of
supplier costs
-Maintain accuracy of purchasing documents and
data including procurement files
-Support and lead cost reduction initiatives,
change activity, and program meetings
-Comply with all applicable FAR / DFARS and
company policies
Basic Qualifications:
- Prior experience with procurement, supply
chain and/or subcontracts
- Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
- Experience with negotiations
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Ten or more years of related experience with a
bachelor's degree OR eight or more years with a
master's degree
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, business
acumen and ability to make business based
decisions
- Experience managing complex subcontracts
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-
functional Supplier Management Teams
- Cross-functional Knowledge of Supplier Quality
and Engineering as they relate to subcontract
management
- Knowledge of acquisition policies and
procedures such as FAR / DFAR and Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures
- Working knowledge of FFP and Cost Plus
Contract Types
- Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within Defense industry
- Experience with LM Procure to Pay (P2P) and
SCNavigator
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
