Job Description Exciting opportunity at MSK: We are seeking a Technologist II to join our Cell Therapy team in Laboratory Medicine ! Role Overview: Perform technical duties in laboratory sections, with minimal supervision, as assigned. Maintain complete, accurate, legible, neat, organized, and up-to-date records/logs/files. Assures the accuracy of all tests performed by adhering to the laboratory's Standard Operating Procedures. Performs routine and advanced equipment maintenance. Follows all applicable laboratory, departmental and institutional policies and procedures related to billing. Participates in and promotes the prevention, detection and resolution of instances of noncompliance with departmental and institutional billing policies and procedures. Assures data is internally consistent and meets QC guidelines. Provides direction, training, and feedback on routine laboratory procedures, as assigned Core Skills: Highly motivated Organized and flexible with tasks Highly attentive to details Able to multi-task to prioritize work Committed to improving cancer care Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (Medical Technology, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences) required Current New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required Two years of Cell Therapy in a Laboratory strongly preferred ASCP required Additional Information: Location: Please note that we staff at the following locations and flexibility to work at multiple sites is needed: CLM, Main Campus and Koch.
