the areas of design, analysis, controls, test, and project management to
accomplish this challenging new feat. We are looking to hire individuals who

Honeywell has
an opening for a Lead Mechanical Engineer in the Mechanical Systems Engineering
group responsible for the design and analysis of bearings, gears and splines,
seals, and lubrication systems for propulsion engines, auxiliary power units,
and engine gearboxes. The scope of this position includes using
state-of-the-art software tools and methods and supporting Technical Excellence
Teams to capture and publish analysis practices and guidelines. The position
may involve test rig design, operation, and data collection and analysis.
Analytical results may be presented in design reviews and will be recorded in
appropriate documentation to meet program deliverables and requirements.
Applicant must work effectively with design teams, global support, and chief
engineers.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors
Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering - 10
years of relevant engineering experience - Due
to ITAR requirements, must be a US Citizen or Legal U.S. Permanent
Resident Alien (Green Card Holder)
WE VALUE
- Advanced
expertise in high-speed machinery disciplines, particularly in Bearings,
Gears & splines, Air & oil seals, Lubrication systems - Extensive
experience with mechanical systems for gas turbine engines - Proficiency
with advanced flow system finite-element modeling and analysis software - Significant
experience in mechanical component rig testing - Expert
user of advanced numerical simulation codes (e.g., OSU Load Distribution
Program, ANSYS, Romax) - Comprehensive
knowledge of Six Sigma tools and application - Ability
to lead large, complex projects and provide strategic direction to teams - Strong
leadership and mentoring skills
