Elections Technical Support - Palm Beach County, FL

We are seeking Elections Technical Project Support for Palm Beach County, FL. Great pay and overtime available as well!

Start date: July 23, 2024

Project Summary:
Candidates will be required to prepare, deploy and support Election Voter check in to include desktops, laptops, tablets, cell phones, printers and network devices.
Candidates will be assigned to an early voting location as a technical lead, and will be assigned to support the region on Election Day consisting of 12 or more polling places.
Candidates will be required to drive their vehicles when necessary based on assignments within Palm Beach County, FL.

Project Requirements:
Valid Driver's License
Must pass a background check
Must be able to work in a high pressure environment
Must have the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently

Technical Requirements:
IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support experience with hands on experience required
A+ Certification preferred
Must have basic understanding of LAN and WiFi technologies
Must have basic understanding of laser printing technologies
Must be Customer Support friendly
Must be able to clearly communicate technical issues and provide step by step solutions

Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 35 LB Election equipment throughout the day
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to work long hours
Able to work consecutively for 21 days without a day off

Dress Code: Business Casual (Khakis/slacks & button down/polo shirt). No T-shirts, jeans, or sneakers.
