Torch Technologies is seeking a Sharepoint Software Development Engineer to join a team to assist the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW), at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWW is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF). The mission of the 350 SWW is to develop and test mission data (MD) to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat. This mission includes operational EW testing, MD development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation.

Responsibilities:

The candidate shall advise and assist by applying specialty area knowledge in support of activities such as monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data in support of various efforts for civilian and military personnel within the 350 SWW. Candidate shall have robust experience in Agile Development Methodology, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Dataverse. Duties may include the following:

  • Work directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and design intuitive, streamlined solutions that align with the client's budget and requirements, which may include assisting with analyzing problems discovered in operational information and making recommendations for different approaches to provide a basis for better planning of programs
  • Design custom forms and lists in SharePoint 2019 and Power Apps in both DoD 365 and GCC High 365 cloud environment
  • Create SharePoint Lists in both DoD 365 cloud and GCC-High 365 cloud environments to support business applications
  • Develop Workflows in Power Automate in both DoD 365 cloud and GCC-High 365 cloud environments
  • Develop Canvas Apps in Power Apps in both DoD 365 cloud and GCC-High 365 cloud environments
  • Develop Power BI Dashboards and reports in both DoD 365 cloud and GCC-High 365 cloud environments
  • Collaborate with SharePoint developers and analysts on solutions and contributing to team training / knowledge sharing meetings
  • Brief project status updates in meetings, with leadership and clients

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must have a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another related area. The contractor must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security clearance. The candidate must be a US Citizen. They must have the potential ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations. Applicants must have a working knowledge of computer systems and an understanding of Windows-based personal computers and Microsoft Office software and possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
