Inside Sales Representative - Military Veterans

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The primary objective of the Sales Representative is to sell and promote the use of Merchant Solutions services in a manner that meets merchant needs. The Sales Representative is responsible for building relationships with merchant retailers with demonstrated experience in growing and closing sales. This position requires prospecting and developing new accounts, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships and increasing sales revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Sales Representative will represent Elite Merchant Solutions in such a manner that upholds our standards of honesty, integrity and reliability to our merchant(s).


• Responsible for the sales of merchant services tailored to provide bankcard authorization and settlement services to merchants nationwide.

• Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective merchant(s) through a relationship-based approach.


• Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential merchant(s) and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.

• Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.


• Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors.


• Develop and maintain existing product knowledge and sales materials.


• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.


• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
