Requisition Number: 2024 - 225 Business Unit: College of Medicine Department: Int Med GI 50001304 Reg-Temp: Full-Time Regular Position Summary: The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE is expanding and looking for a gastroenterologist with a focus on inflammatory bowel disease and endoscopy for a faculty position. This is truly an outstanding opportunity to join a division that offers opportunities for clinical scholars in general gastroenterology and major subspecialty areas including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, motility, endoscopy, and intestinal failure. The potential for outreach to smaller communities and rural areas, telehealth and participation in clinical research is a highlight of this position. The Frederick F. Paustian Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center is a 3800 square foot center that opened in 2022. It is It is dedicated to improving the lives of IBD patients through expert, integrated, innovative patient-centered care as well as through ground-breaking clinical, translational, and basic research programs.
