Position: Director o f Human Resources, France Benelux

Based in: Paris

Reporting to: VP of Human Resources, Europe and ROW (APAC and LATAM)

What you will do:
As an HR Director , you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of Quadient's France /Benelux employees . In this hands on role, you will lead a team of professionals, ensuring that all aspects of human resources are executed efficiently and effectively for France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg . You will also be the strategic partner for your designated solution/function. This position requires a strong understanding of HR practices, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

Key Accountabilities

  • You will be responsible for translating the global strategic approach to human resources and the execution of these strategies, ensuring an aligned HR plan with global and local priorities


  • You will ensure capability development to match business needs, ensuring both long-term and short-term focus


  • You will lead and manage and inspire a team of HR Business Partners and Social Relations , fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention .


  • You will provide strategic partnership to business leaders and individual contributors, ensuring employee advocacy and fairness and you'll be the primary driver and leader in all of your clients' people related activities and programs. You will support and potentially challenge your leadership teams through all People processes including compensation, talent development, performance management, employee relations, change management, organizational design, etc.


  • You will coach and develop leaders at all levels within the organization, from line managers through executives and you will mentor and your immediate HR team, acting as a culture ambassador, fostering diversity and inclusion.


  • You will collaborate with HR COEs (t otal R ewards, t alent acquisition, talent development and diversity, and people insights and services) to inform the design and implementation of People programs and processes.


  • You will handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and performance management . In addition, your team will support the business on worker council negotiations to ensure trustful HR collaboration and employee representation.


  • You will lead and support organizational change initiatives while minimizing resistance and ensuring a smooth transition.


  • You will collaborate with Senior Leaders to understand and address current and future HR needs.


Your profile

  • You have strategic human resource business partner experience supporting various functions


  • You have experience with social relations.


  • You have in-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and industry trends


  • You hold excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach.


  • You can demonstrate 'change leadership' experience: helping to pivot culture and improve overall effectiveness of the business and teams. You have a deep understanding of rapidly changing work environments and cultures. You're confident and able to thrive in ambiguous and transforming environments.


  • You have demonstrable ability to drive long-term initiatives and apply patience and perspective to balance short-term demands while driving progress towards long-term goals by making trade-offs, and choosing priorities carefully.


  • You have excellent judgement and problem-solving capabilities, as well as the ability to make thoughtful decisions; You're intellectually curious about people and organizational issues; you have a creative, solutions-based mindset.


  • You are analytically driven; you utilize qualitative and quantitative approaches to problem solving and root cause analysis.


  • You've proven experience in driving key people, programs and processes (performance management cycles, calibration facilitation, compensation planning, executive coaching, employee relations/conflict resolution, organizational design, etc.)


  • You can flex your style and build trust and rapport with Executives as well as individual contributors, you're are agile, fearless, and able to adapt to shifting priorities; You have a "roll your sleeves up ''attitude'' and think "we / not I'' .


  • You effectively partner with cross-functional partners ( e.g. Finance, Legal) and the broader HR team to build a better employee experience for employees.
